Prophetess Sherry Green-Dixon, is happily married to Michael Dixon Sr. She cherishes her role as a wife and mother to Laylia, MJ and Baby Eli. She is the second oldest of four children to Evangelist Jesse Green and Sister Rochelle Green. She was baptized and received the filling of the Holy Ghost at “Willing Workers Community Church of God in Christ”, where she was born and raised. Founded by her late great-grandmother, Pastor, and Prophetess Carry Cureton.
She has devoted her life to God in true worship and desire to be used to motivate, inspire, and arouse the Body of Christ through cultivating a relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer and worship. After ministering to women for 7 years, throughout her career as a travel nurse, she finally accepted her public call to ministry in late 2020. She has ministered on multiple social media platforms and other local services. Servant Sherry also can be heard every week on Wednesday's and Friday's on Instagram, @SherryGDixon.
She is deeply committed to the work of the Lord, and she has a servant's heart. She is a humble woman of God and will assure you that if you only BELIEVE, all things are possible through Christ. Sherry followed the vision that God gave her, in the birthing of Sherry's Prayer Closet. She began fulfilling every duty necessary during this birthing season, in addition to being a full-time wife, mom, and nurse.
“Sherry's Prayer Closet” has helped women build a closer relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer and 1-on-1 spiritual advisor sessions. The ministry involves teaching the Body of Christ to utilize the art of prayer, to bring edification, comfort, exhortation, and deliverance. The goal is to set the gospel in motion to provoke the transformation of Christians and to win souls for the kingdom.
Sherry exemplifies the Great Commission of Jesus the Christ, which is found in Matthew 28;18-20. She is blessed with a spirit of Excellence, Commitment, and Integrity; believing that God will get the Glory out of her life as long as she continues to be a soldier in His army and bring healing to the Body of Christ. Thank God for the life that He has blessed her with.
Profession of Faith
In my profession of faith, I affirm my belief in the one God, the Father, the Almighty, who is the Creator of heaven and earth. I openly acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior of all humanity. I recognize His immaculate birth to the Virgin Mary, His sinless life, and His sacrificial crucifixion for the atonement of our sins. Furthermore, I hold steadfast to the belief in His triumphant resurrection on the third day and His ascension into heaven, where He is seated at the right hand of God.
I declare my unwavering faith in the Holy Spirit, who resides within me, providing empowerment for a virtuous life. I acknowledge the profound forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ and commit my life to follow Him as my Lord and Savior. With anticipation, I eagerly await the second coming of Jesus, embracing the promise of eternal life that He offers to all who believe.
Family
For the past 14 years, I've been happily married to a strong-willed and handsome man named Michael Dixon. Together, we are blessed with three wonderful children. Laylia, our oldest, brings sass and personality to our family. MJ, the middle child, adds a playful and goofy element to our daily lives. Our youngest, Baby Eli, is a bundle of energy and life.
As a family, we cherish moments filled with movies, travel, and quality time spent together. Our bond is strengthened by the faith we share, recognizing that God is the true glue that holds us together. We appreciate your prayers for our family's continued joy and unity.
